This enduring English classic, inspired by the sophisticated architectural and interior design prevalent during Queen Anne's reign, has maintained its popularity across centuries. Designed with graceful curves and distinctive wings that curved slightly inward they instilled a cosy feel with the practical purpose of warding off draughts.
This wing chair features intricately scrolled arms and wings adorned with nearly 400 individually hand-tacked antiqued brass studs. The high-back design boasts deep buttoning detailing that provides unparalleled support and comfort. The solid hardwood frame is built to last, being screwed, glued, and dowelled for maximum strength, and supports an abundance of springs, webbing, and stuffing. A specially developed cushion of foam encased in a plump fibre jacket, adds outstanding comfort to the overall experience. All finished off in our Antique Leather, a fine corrected grain leather with an antique coating that’s skilfully rubbed off in places revealing lighter undertones, creating a cool, aged look.
Worth knowing…
Our chairs are crafted from genuine leather, which is a natural material endowed with unique characteristics such as scars, insect bites or wrinkles. While we adhere to rigorous standards to ensure that any noticeable marks are discreetly placed, we embrace these natural imperfections as they give each chair a distinctive personality.
It's the little things
We take great pride in our furniture, from its design to the materials used to create it, and the skilled craftsmen who bring it to life. Every aspect is carefully considered and thoroughly inspected to ensure you will love it as much as we do.
